Does AgriWeigh work offline? +
Yes — completely. If you lose Starlink or cellular signal mid-harvest, the edge device queues every KG transaction locally on the hardware. The moment connection is restored, everything syncs to the cloud automatically. Not a single KG is lost. Solid and reliable.
What cell networks does it work on? +
AgriWeigh works over any internet connection — 4G/LTE cellular, Starlink satellite, standard WiFi, or fixed broadband. We recommend Starlink for remote field sites. The system automatically manages connection drops and resumes syncing when signal returns.
What weighbridges is it compatible with? +
AgriWeigh is compatible with virtually every weighbridge indicator available in New Zealand — Rinstrum, A&D, Mettler Toledo, Avery Weigh-Tronix, Rice Lake, Ohaus, Toltec, and all other RS232 and RS485 protocol indicators. If your bridge has a serial output, we can connect to it. No need to replace existing hardware.
How does the farmer portal work? +
You create a read-only login for your farm client. They open it on their phone and see every KG leaving their paddock in real time — vehicle plate, net KG, and timestamp for each load. It updates every 2 seconds. They can watch from the house, the woolshed, or anywhere with a phone signal.
How does it help with fuel efficiency? +
When operators can see their exact KG on every load in real time, they load more consistently to the target weight. Less underloading means fewer unnecessary trips. Less overloading means less wear on trucks and tyres. Over a full season the fuel and maintenance savings are significant.
Is the system easy for operators to learn? +
Yes — it was designed specifically for machine operators in the field. Big buttons, simple screens, 4-digit PIN login. Most operators are fully up and running within 30 minutes of first use. Training is included in the installation package.
Can I run multiple sites at once? +
Yes. AgriWeigh supports multiple sites simultaneously. Each site has its own edge device and syncs independently to the cloud. Your boss dashboard shows all sites in one view. Perfect for large contracting operations running multiple weighbridges across different properties.
